The following series of classes, offered each month, will give people a path of next steps that will be clear and easily accessible anytime a person chooses to connect with the Lord, the church, and their specific calling to ministry in the Lord’s church. A person may begin at any point, but must complete all four steps to complete membership requirements and begin serving in a ministry.
CONNECT –(Believing in Jesus & Belonging to His Family)
To connect with Fellowship of the Rockies and affirm your relationship with God.
Class Description: This class helps you understand what it means to have a personal relationship with God, take the step of baptism, and belong to a church family.
Schedule/Teacher: This class is offered the first week of each month. Taught by Duane Arledge, Connections Pastor.
FOLLOW – (Becoming His Disciple)
Following Jesus is a rewarding challenge, especially when you do it though real relationships in your church family.
Class Description: This class will give you effective tools for becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. You will learn how to “feed yourself” spiritually and what it means to live in Christian community. (Life Journaling and Life Groups)
Schedule/Teacher: This class is offered the second week of each month. Taught by Tom Atkinson, Discipleship Pastor.
DISCOVER – (Unveil God's purpose for you)
Discover how God has made you to fit in a unique place of ministry in His church.
Class Description: This class offers you the opportunity to discover your spiritual gifts, identify your God-given passion, and explore how God wants to fulfill you in His ministry.
Schedule/Teacher: This class is offered the third week of each month. Taught by either Duane Arledge, Connections Pastor or Tom Atkinson, Discipleship Pastor – could also be any of the Pastors.
SERVE – (Building His Kingdom)
Meet Ministry Leaders and find a place to begin serving in your church.
Class Description: This step offers you the opportunity to meet with Ministry Leaders, ask questions, share your unique gifts, and connect with your first place of ministry at Fellowship.
Schedule/Teacher: This class is offered the fourth week of each month. Could include a light meal. Taught by Beth Buchanan, Impact Pastor, but could easily be facilitated by any pastor.
LEAD – (For those considering a leadership position)
Gain a better understanding of the DNA of Fellowship and develop as a spiritual leader.
Class Description: This class will give you a deeper understanding of the DNA of Fellowship, help you grasp biblical truths about leadership, and reveal proven practices of effective spiritual leaders.
Schedule/Teacher: This class is offered quarterly. Could be taught by any Pastor, since it is designed to equip leaders for all areas of ministry in the church.
